21st february 2010: Fulham - Birmingham

FULHAM
Good sequence of games for Fulham at Craven Cottage, where they have one of the best defence with just 8 goals conceeded in 13 games.
"I thought the victory lay in the hard work and the quality of our defending. We gave them very little time and space to play and we used the ball wisely. We got everything right tonight - the defending and attacking - and on a night like that, we would have been a tough nut to crack for any team." Hodgson said after a great 3-0 against Burnley last week.

Paul Konchesky could figure on the bench after recovering from a foot injury, but long-term casualties Kagisho Dikgacoi (ankle), Andrew Johnson, Clint Dempsey and John Pantsil (all knee) are out.

BIRMINGHAM
After showing an impressive form with 15 games without defeat they lost the last 2 away games and conceeded 5 goals.
The other games weren't better, even the victory over Wolves (recovering from a 1-0) or a lucky draw against Tottenham.

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish has no fresh injury worries.

VERDICT
Craven Cottage is not an easy place to visit: Everton, Man utd and Liverpool couldn't go home with a victory.
Considering the strenght of Fulham's defence at home and the lack of form of Birmingham I would say take Fulham to win. The odds are quite high so it worth the risk.
