2nd february 2010: Sunderland - Stoke City

The last game goals from Cahill and Donovan secured a comfortable 2-0 win at Goodison Park and extended Sunderland's miserable run.
The team show a very poor form and lack of results. The manager Steve Bruce facing an anxious wait over a series of players.
Bruce is keeping his fingers crossed that Lee Cattermole (back injury and illness), Phil Bardsley (hamstring) and Michael Turner (knee) could resume training over the weekend.

The last match against Aston Villa captain Cesc Fabregas came off the bench to inspire the Gunners to a 3-0 win over Aston Villa which hauls them back into the Barclays Premier League title race.
The Spaniard, who had been out with a hamstring problem, netted a superb free-kick on 65 minutes and then scored a fine breakaway goal before being substituted as a precaution.

26th december 2009: Manchester City - Stoke City

MANCHESTER CITY

New manager Roberto Mancini takes charge of Manchester City for the first time. City are aiming for a third successive home win while Stoke City have taken one point from a possible nine.

Hughes left the team 6th, 7 point far from the 4th position, losing 2 times and with 33 goals scored.

Midfielder Nigel de Jong returns from a one-match suspension to face Stoke on Boxing Day.

20th december 2009: West Ham - Chelsea

WEST HAM

West Ham welcome back Matthew Upson from injury for the match at Upton Park.

The England defender has recovered from a hamstring problem and comes back into the heart of what has been a leaky Hammers rearguard this season.

Forward Luis Jimenez also returns from a muscle strain but Carlton Cole (knee ligaments), Valon Behrami, Zavon Hines (both knee) and Kieron Dyer (hamstring) are still out.
